New site, new brew guides, and Guillermo's story
Hi there,
Our new site is live. If you knew us as ecodelightcoffee.com, this is the same Eco Delight — the store now lives at buyecodelight.com. Same coffee, same two people roasting it — but if the last time you ordered from us was on the old site, this one will be new to you. It finally does more than take an order.
Three things on it worth your time.
Plan out your coffee purchases. Tell it how many cups a day you drink and how many people are drinking, and it works out how much coffee you actually go through in a month. Most people are off by more than they expect, in both directions. Try the calculator
Ways to prepare your coffee. Four guides for how our customers actually drink it: cold brew, pour over, K-Cup, and managing an espresso shot. Real numbers rather than vibes — grind, ratio, water temperature, and what to change when it tastes wrong. Both Hardflip blends were tuned for cold brew, and the Espresso Forte was built for an 18 g dose pulled 1:2. See the brew guides
Guillermo's story. Our master roaster grew up in coffee in El Salvador, and that history is most of the reason our coffee tastes the way it does. We finally wrote it down. Read it
While you are in there, the café de olla page is worth a look. The spices belong in the grounds, not stirred into the cup afterward, and almost nobody outside Mexico does it that way.
One more thing, still a few weeks out: we are setting up to live stream our roasting sessions on the Bendig, so you can watch your coffee being roasted before it ships. More on that when the camera is up.
Thanks for drinking our coffee.
